Wedding Update {Bridesmaid Dress}

For those of you who have been through the bridesmaid dress selection know how rather stressful it is. Either as the bride or the bridesmaid, regardless it is stressful. Thankfully I have the best MOH [my sister] who graciously sat with me at the bridal boutique and tried on a multitude of dresses many different days. I don't have pictures of all of the dresses but here are a few!

Line: Dessy
This was the dress I originally wanted from my online shopping. I loved the color, the fabric, the top [especially with the necklace] and I really loved the length. It is SO hard to find dressy short dresses. I just knew this would be the dress so all we had to do was go in, try it on and sign some paper work. Oh man was I wrong! I hated how the dress fit my sister. And let me tell you, if it didn't look good on Libby it wouldn't look good on anyone. So....the hunt began!

Line: Watters
I settled ended up choosing this one thinking I loved it. I went long even though I didn't want to. We decided for my sister to wear the sash to be different as my MOH. We left and for about three months that was going to be the dress.

Then when it came time to order... I went back and we went through the whole try on, take off, try on, take off process again.
Line: Watters

I finally found this one and I LOVE it! It is the perfect style- A Line. Pretty top with simple straps that cross in the back. I love the color. My colors are ivory and champagne so it goes so well. Sis can still wear her sash to stand out from the rest. I feel so good about this choice and finally felt okay with placing the order! I am excited for all of my best friends to wear them on our big day!

What is your dress story? Good, bad and the ugly!

Beautiful! I had the sweetest little flower girl dress made to match my bridesmaids. We even had a matching flower girl dress made for Baby Sister, even though she was too young to be officially in the wedding. My plan was to take a picture with just the flower girls prior to the ceremony. It was at the top of my must-have picture list because those little girls were a HUGE part of my life.

My photographer, who was scheduled to arrive 90 minutes before the ceremony to snap some of those must-have pics, didn't bother to show up until 15 minutes prior. Needless to say, I wasn't happy; however, there was nothing that could be done about it. The flower girl(s) shot would have to wait.

Unfortunately, Baby Sister got sick right after the ceremony all over her dress, so I never did get that picture.

And now....my sweet little flower girl is blogging about the details of planning her own wedding, while Baby Sister models her MOH dress. Hard to believe. :o)
