Out with the Old [2011]

I look back at 2011 and wow it has been a year full of change, growth, love, forgiveness, grace, faith, friends & family and a most of all joy!


-celebrated the new year embarking on a new adventure, student teaching
-met my firsties. fell in love.
-went to a few osu basketball games
-spent 10 straight days in my pj's with the best of girlfriends [snow storm 2011]
-celebrated kim's engagement
-spent spring break at home with my family
-ran in remember the 10 in stillwater, ok
-caleb asked me to be his wife [finally]
-started planning my dream wedding
-applied in many different districts in tx for a teaching job
-said goodbye to 22 wonderful 6 year olds, an amazing first grade teacher, and a loving school. student teaching ended but it was an experience I will never forget.
-wore orange and graduated from the best university in the nation.
-moved home to tx after 4 amazing years in stillwater, america
-got a job interview [prayers answered]
-interviewed and got my dream job [bigger prayers answered]
-traveled back and forth to ok for best friends weddings
-spent way too much money decorating my classroom
-went to galveston for some much needed relaxation with family
-spent quality time with family at our lake house
-enjoyed setting up my very own classroom
-anxiously met my 3rd graders [smitten]
-spent too many to count hours teaching 8 and 9 year olds more about life then about school
-witnessed osu have the best football season in school history
-my heart broke when we lost to iowa state
-celebrated my 23rd birthday in austin, tx with my sis who was sick in the hospital
-remembered my nanny on her 97th birthday and the one year anniversary of her death ["because I knew you, I have been changed for good." -wicked]
-stormed the field when osu beat ou in bedlam
-sat on the edge of my seat hoping & praying we would jump alabama for the national championship
-had a wonderful thanksgiving with all of my family
-sent out our save the dates [marry christmas]
-had a very merry christmas and received some pretty great goodies
-rang in the new year with caleb, linds & chance at the dallas stars game. suite style.

It was a wonderful year with so many monumental moments but I will say I am so looking forward to 2012. I will become Caleb's wife and we will start our own happily ever after...
