Last week was such a fabulous week back to school. It started by a horrible drive in the snow; however, I got to Stillwater safely and it was great the rest of the week. Here is my house as I was driving away to tackle the snow filled roads. I have driven in bad weather going to or from school twice in the last four years and I think that about does it for me. I need a massage by the time I get back because of how tense I am the entire time while driving. Not safe.
Wednesday was my frand's birthday. It was so fun celebrating her day with friends who have become so dear to my heart. We had yummy desserts and just spent time chatting. Kali got this cute scarf from Kristen. All are obsessed with anything orange here in good ol' Stillwater, America.

Student teaching began and it was fabulous. I love my kids and Mrs. Pratz. She will be a fantastic mentor to learn from. One of the 1st grade teachers turned 50, so all of the kids and teacher wore black to "celebrate" her birth. So fun!! I am looking forward to being with these kids for a whole semester.
